Selling my trusty Fuji racing bike with an extra rack and mudguards. They make the bike look 100 times less cool but help with the ride to work, obviously you can whip these straight off and drop the weight considerably. It's been kept in good condition with multiple services and new disc brakes/pedals fitted last week. It's a great bike but not really getting the use out of it so time to let it go. Endurance Road Bike The 2014 Fuji Sportif 1.3 is designed for endurance riding. It has 700c wheels. The Fuji Sportif 1.3 weighs 23.32 pounds. This is 4.14 pounds lighter than the average endurance bike. The groupset on the Fuji Sportif 1.3 is Shimano Tiagra. These are mid-range components. Mid-range components are for people who love to get out on their road bike on a somewhat regular basis. They will stand up to more regular use and will function more consistently than entry-level components. However, there will still be a slightly reduced performance and increased weight compared to enthusiast-level components. Tiagra is Shimano's third most-basic road groupset. It is a solid entry-level or low-end mid-range groupset. Tiagra has benefited from some "trickle-down" technology and design of the 105 groupset. The Sportif 1.3 is an endurance road bike. Endurance bikes are similar to traditional road bikes, with slightly more of a focus on comfort. These bikes have a slightly relaxed geometry and the frames are designed to be smooth and light. The handlebars on endurance bikes are closer to seat height, compared to traditional bikes, allowing for a more upright riding position. The Sportif 1.3 has 2 chainrings on the crankset, and 10 gears on the cassette, giving the bike 20 possible gear ratios (speeds). This 20-speed endurance bike has a max gear ratio of 50/11. This gear ratio, combined with the 700c wheels, give the Sportif 1.3 a max gearing of 132 gear inches. This is considered medium in terms of max gearing. You will be able to acquire decent speed on flat terrain with an elevated pedaling cadence. The Sportif 1.3 has a minimum gear ratio of 34/32 (31 gear inches). This minimum gearing is about average for a road bike. All but long climbs or the steepest ascents will be doable.
